ST. LOUIS JEWISH LIGHT June 19. 1974 Page ten Nadah Health Service Bus Aids Area Older Adults IE Aid Life Seekers be presented to Mrs. Irv Litvag, president of the West County Life Seekers, and Mrs. Ruth Sheinbein of the West County Life Seekers, at the Women's League meeting on Tuesday July 23.

The Life Seekers is a local group of women dedicated to lowering the infant mortality rate in St. Louis by supporting obstetrical research and providing life-saving equipment for critically ill Women Walk-a-Thon To The Exercise Club of the Women's League of West Glen Woods in Ballwin, sponsored a Walk-a-Thon recently. Twenty-five women walked 10 miles, from the Woerther School in Ballwin to Babler State Park. Free soft drinks were donated after the first 6 miles by McDonalds on Manchester Road. The proceeds from this Walk-a-Thon, which amounted to $600, will wGri MEDICAL' BUS jif r1 Goldstein, Mandel Are Recently Wed Miss Robin Goldstein and Alan Mandel were recently married at Meadowbrook Country Club with Rabbi Jerome Grollman officiating at the candlelight ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morry Goldstein, Ladue; the bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Mandel, St.

Louis. The bride chose her sisters Cathy Goldstein as maid of honor and Mrs. Jerry Meyers as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Mickey Bronska, Melissa Cohen, Joan Weinberg and Lisa Mandel, sister of the bridegroom. The bridegroom chose his brother, Andrew Mandel, as best man.

Groomsmen were Doug Pernikoff, David Lazarus, Dr. Jerry Meyers, Larry Weintraub and Justin Johl. The bride's niece, Lori Meyers, served as flower girl, and Scott Meyers, the bride's nephew, was the ring bearer. The couple will reside in St. Louis County after a wedding trip to the Ozarks.

The Nadah Health Service Bus continues to provide transportation to medical appointments for older adults. Morris Handler and Mrs. Henry Voda of St. Louis. The bridegroom chose Dr. Jerry Rosenblum, Nashville, as best man.

Ushers included Robert, Michael and Gary Handler, brothers of the bride. Levine is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Zegen, Lansdowne, Pa. The couple will reside in Clayton after a wedding trip to Hawaii and San Francisco.

Forests to Be Planted In Beersheba Area JERUSALEM (JTA) The Jewish National Fund and the Beersheba municipality have agreed upon plans for wide-scale afforestation around the Negev's largest city.
